Advantage Travel Partnership has expanded its Global Business Travel (GBT) advisory board, welcoming a distinguished group of new industry leaders.
The board’s expansion strengthens Advantage’s ability to provide strategic guidance, industry insight and global perspective, ensuring that the business continues to evolve.
The following have joined the board:
Chris Lewis, Founder and Chief Executive Officer at Travelogix, oversees the development of Analytix, a platform providing live insights and detailed reporting.
David Bulloch, Director of Strategic Accounts, EMEA, at Travelport, has 20 years’ experience in travel technology.
David Flesher, Commercial Director at LNER, brings over two decades in marketing and commercial leadership across multiple industries.
Gary Povey, Chief Operating Officer of Wings Global Travel, has expertise in business development, operations, and digital transformation.
Gill Wickers, Head of UK and Ireland Sales at British Airways. Her career includes senior roles at United Airlines and Amex GBT, and she brings a deep understanding of the global travel ecosystem and strong supplier partnerships.
Melissa Powell, Global Operations Director for Travel and Events at Informa, manages partnerships with more than 250 suppliers, ensuring seamless, safe and efficient travel operations that support the company’s global mission.
Mike Owens, Director of Sales at Sequel Travel. Known for collaboration and innovation, he helps shape client strategy and global growth, delivering bespoke, high-value travel management solutions.
Nick Bettles, Chief Executive Officer at Talma UK. Overseeing Talma EMEA and Blue Cube, he brings extensive airline and travel leadership experience from Etihad, Cathay Pacific, Virgin Atlantic and RX Global.
Scott Davies, Chief Executive Officer at ITM, has more than 25 years’ experience in business travel. He champions community collaboration, thought leadership and professional development.
Shelley Mathews, Chief Commercial Officer of Take2Eton Group, who has experience leading high-performing teams and delivering ambitious revenue results.

Clive Wratten, James Beagrie, Michael E White Duarte and Suzanne Horner are stepping down from the board following a one-year term.
Ashley Bowling, Craig Burdett, Diogo Carvalho, Jeanette Harper, Jo Layton, Kim Renouf, Matt Masson, Paul Cronje and Simon Ferguson will continue to serve on the advisory board, which meets four times a year.
